Ann & Emma- Prom Dresses

Ann & Emma
Nova Scotia, Canada
2010 Prom dresses

Ann & Emma are twins. Their mother, Cindy contacted me back in March to make the girls' prom dresses after Emma been browsing through my dresses online. Cindy was the sweetest lady. Her emails were always filled with kind words. The girls were her babies: the youngest of five children. So this was extra special for her and I felt honored to be part of it.
The girls knew exactly what shade of colors they want and so I sent them swatches to choose from. And the making process begins.......

Thank you for sharing Cindy, Ann & Emma!

All the colours

As I am super busy sewing up a storm in my workroom, I can't help but smile at all the pretty colors of BM dresses around me. I don't have time to paint anymore, but have you ever seen a more pretty and vibrant artist's palette?? Love it!!! big :)

Alexandra June 2010 Prom

Alexandra had her prom last month...so here's a few pics she sent me. Thank you ALi!!

2010 Prom

Just about all of my dresses have built in bustier with sewn in cups. No need to find a macthing strapless bra. gotta love that!!

My Youngest Client Delaney

I am known for creating pretty frills for women like you and me, but once in a while I also get personal requests to create cute little wonders.

Delaney's mom wanted to create a special "1st Birthday" dress for Delaney to match her cake and invites; pink with black Damask theme. The dress must have black ruffles, a short sleeve and full skirt bottom. I found this totally cute black tulle with pink polka dots to use as crinoline, added ruffle bloomers with "D" heatseal rhinestones for Delaney and created a flower hair clip to match. Here's some pics she shared with me from their after party photo session....

Thank you Mandi!!
